Recipe: Meme’s Mushrooms a la Plancha

Ingredients
- Crimini Mushrooms
- Jamón Serrano (or Prosciutto)
- Manchego Cheese (optional)
- La Plancha (Cast Iron Griddle)
Instructions
- Wash and dry the mushrooms. Leave the stems on.
- Slice the Jamón Serrano & Manchego cheese into bite sized squares.
- Place Jamón and Manchego slices on stem side of mushroom and secure with a toothpick.
- Place with top side down onto “La Plancha” and cook over high heat. No oil is necessary.
- Allow the mushrooms to sweat and serve when mushrooms have striped lines on bottom and are cooked through.
