Ingredients
- 1 lb ground lamb
- ½ lb ground beef
- 1 cup whole pitted Kalamata olives
- ½ cup Feta cheese (crumbled chunky)
- 1 tsp garlic salt
- Pita Bread (preferably non perforated)
- ½ cucumber (sliced)
- 1 tomato (sliced)
- 1 handful of Arugula
- 1 cup Tzatziki sauce
Instructions
- Preheat grill to 350 degrees.
- Coarsely chop the Kalamata olives.
- Mix together the first five ingredients.
- Form the mixture into patties.
- Cut the top off the Pita bread just wide enough to fit the burger inside.
- Grill the Lamb Burger Patties for 10 minutes.
- Grill the Pita bread for just a couple minutes to heat up (preferably on upper level of the grill).
- Assemble the Lamb Burger inside in the Pita with the sliced tomato, cucumber, arugula and a few dollops of Tzatziki sauce.
