I’ve always loved cooking and being creative in the kitchen. When we started our winery I had an even bigger motivation to explore food and wine pairings. Our travels to Spain have been a huge inspiration to learn how to cook deliciously with fresh, local ingredients. Not to mention the artistic way of presenting the food. As they say, “You eat with your eyes” and I love to take the extra time to plate the meal or serve family style in a hand painted ceramic bowl.
That is why I’m so excited to share my first cookbook of Tapas and More. I couldn’t have done it without the support and help of so many people. Thank you from the bottom of my heart! (You know who you are!)
I’ve always enjoyed photography. But I must admit, the new phones these days make it so easy to take great pictures and upload to social media and blog posts. (Below: Liz taking a photo of her recipe of Spanish Style Deviled Eggs).
I get inspiration by working outdoors and you will notice a lot of my photos are taken outdoors in a natural environment. (Below: Reviewing cookbook edits at my mom’s house on my laptop over coffee and a light breakfast with fresh fruit.)
