This wine salt is easy and fun! It makes a beautiful decoration to sprinkle on a white plate with sliced watermelon, sliced heirloom tomatoes or blistered padron peppers. Make with a dark red wine like Bokisch Graciano.
Ingredients
- ¼ cup coarse sea salt (Kosher salt)
- 2-3 tsp Bokisch Graciano
Instructions
- Mix the wine with the salt.
- Spread on a plate and let dry (about 24 hrs)
- Sprinkle on melon or use as decorative finishing salt.
Notes
This wine salt doesn't really taste like wine, but it's purple color is so beautiful!
