This little gem is a new fan favorite! The flavors of the figs soaked in our Late Harvest Graciano give it a unique flavor that is simply scrumptious! Best of all, you can make the figs in advance and keep them on hand in the refrigerator for a quick dessert tapa with friends!

Serves: 6-8
Ingredients
  • 1 bottle 375ml Bokisch Late Harvest Graciano
  • 1 cup dried figs
  • 1 small goat cheese log
  • cream cheese
  • 1 jar fig jam (preferably white fig)
  • Baguette slices
Instructions
  1. Combine the dried figs and half the bottle of Late Harvest Graciano in a heavy pot and bring to a boil. Bring down to a simmer for 15 minutes.
  2. Remove the figs and let cool. Meanwhile bring the Graciano liquid back to a high simmer until it reduced by a third. Let cool.
  3. Combine the goat cheese and mix in some cream cheese. I like to do about a ⅔ goat to a ⅓ cream cheese ratio.
  4. Lightly toast the baguette slices. Spread with the goat/cream cheese mixture,
  5. Dollop a spoonful of fig jam and top with some slices of the soaked figs.
  6. Drizzle with the late harvest reduction sauce.
  7. Serve with a glass of the Late Harvest Graciano.
Notes
Sometimes goat cheese can be a little too strong so cutting with the cream cheese adds a a rich texture and makes it easier to spread. Use the ratio that fits your flavor profile!
