Ingredients
- 1 bag small pearl onions
- ¼ cup Bokisch Rosado or Verdejo
- 2 Tbsp sugar
- Manchego cheese cut into small triangles
- skewers
Instructions
- Boil onions in water for 2 minutes, plunge into a bowl of iced water. Slip off skins.
- Heat wine and sugar mixture until liquid becomes a syrup, add onions to let poach.
- Remove onions and let cool on a small plate.
- Skewer the onions with the manchego pieces.
- Drizzle with the remaining wine syrup and serve.
