Wondering what to bring to a 4th of July BBQ? Celebrate Bokisch style! Here are some of my favorite easy tapas that will please a crowd and add a unique twist to your gathering with friends a family.
Begin with a crisp Garnacha Blanca and this super yummy Manchego Bites with apricots. Instead of using dried apricots, try getting some fresh ones from the Farmer’s Market. Substitute a raspberry for a patriotic red, white and blue effect! https://www.lizbokisch.com/manchego-apricot-bites
Still in the mood for white wine? Enjoy our winemaker’s white blend with these Garam Masala Chicken Salad boats. They can be either made in advance or laid out with crisp baby romaine leaves for guests to serve themselves. Do yourself a favor and make it with a pre-roasted chicken for a time and heat saver. https://www.lizbokisch.com/garam-masala-chicken-salad-tapa
Waiting on those smoked ribs to be ready? Satisfy your guests with this little Tapa Teaser of grilled potato bites with sliced steak. Make an easy smoked paprika mayo to dollop on top. Time to break out the red wine. You choose your favorite…will it be our classic Tempranillo? Monastrell? Graciano? https://www.lizbokisch.com/grilled-potato-steak-bites
I absolutely love these marinated roasted red bell pepper crostini with goat cheese. It can be made way in advance and either assembled individually or served in a bowl for guests to spread themselves. I suggest pairing with our Tizona Malbec or Old Vine Carignane.https://www.lizbokisch.com/tapa-of-marinated-peppers-with-goat-cheese-toast
Happy 4th of July!
