The Bokisch family has strong familial roots in Spain and we reinforce our love of Spanish foods, wines and culture on our annual visits. Among our many accolades, Bokisch Vineyards has been listed as one of the “101 Best Wineries in America” by The Daily Meal and a “Best of California” wine in the 2015 California State Fair.

Bokisch Vineyards produces several red and white wines, all of Spanish grape varieties. In 2015, we began a second label called Tizona with the release of our first non-Iberian wine, Old Vine Zinfandel. All of the Bokisch Vineyards and Tizona wines are grown and produced by the Bokisch family in Lodi, California. Lodi is known as the birthplace of Robert Mondavi and produces some of California’s most unique and distinguished wines.

In Spain, life is lived a little slower and a little tastier. It is our hope that this blog will inspire you to take time to enjoy your friends and family each day.

We love to entertain with recipes we have collected on our annual visits to Spain. Our Mediterranean inspired dishes include tapas(small plates) recipes and other curated recipes that pair perfectly with Bokisch Vineyards and Tizona wines. Bokisch Vineyards Club Members enjoy these Spanish dishes at our club parties and they receive beautiful Recipe Cards with each club shipment.
